AB Staffing is seeking Board Certified Behavior Analysts for the 2025/2026 school year.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a mental health-related field such as Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work (preferred).
- Certification as a BCBA in the state of California.
- Knowledge of emotional and behavioral disorders.
- Experience with instructional and behavioral intervention methods in a school setting (preferred).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, demonstrate initiative, and work effectively in a team.
- Physical ability to stand or sit for extended periods, see and read printed and digital materials, hear and understand speech, and lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
Job Description:
Caseload and classroom details vary based on school location. Recruitment specialists can discuss specifics upon application to match your experience and skills. The position is contracted through the 2024/2025 school year, 35-40 hours per week, following the academic calendar.
Job Duties:
- Participate in educational teams to support behavioral interventions for students with challenging behaviors.
- Support functional behavior assessments and lead the development and implementation of applied behavior analysis strategies, including pairing, natural environment teaching, and discrete trial training.
- Coordinate support between school and home to ensure comprehensive programming.
- Develop instructional materials, accommodations, modifications, assessments, and data collection tools.
- Collect and analyze behavior data to monitor progress.
- Collaborate with teams to develop behavior intervention and crisis plans.
- Provide social skills instruction using research-based methods and district curricula.
- Engage in professional development and team meetings.
Salary:
$2,240.00 – $2,345.00 per week
