Position Summary
The Multimedia Art Camp Instructor will lead engaging, hands-on workshops for middle school girls in foundational art and craft skills. This role involves teaching drawing basics, collaging techniques, and introductory sewing skills in a supportive, encouraging environment. The ideal candidate will foster creativity, build confidence, and help students develop practical artistic skills while maintaining a safe and inclusive space. Responsibilities include lesson planning, materials preparation, classroom management, and supporting campers' individual creative exploration throughout the summer program.
Duties and Specific Responsibilities
Model for students the mission and values of Presentation High School.
Demonstrate subject matter competency and the ability to communicate that to middle school students.
Be available to students who need assistance.
Exercise professionalism always with students, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements
Education & Experience
Experience with middle school students is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively to promote student learning.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The Summer School Teacher must be able to:
- lift and/or carry moderate weight:10-20 lbs. of school materials such as textbooks.
- Spend a considerable amount of the day on their feet and walking around campus
This position includes supervising programming around campus, including outdoors.
