Food Service Worker - Frost​/Indigo

Oak Grove School District has a total student enrollment of approximately 8,690 from grades TK-8. There are 15 elementary schools and 3 intermediate schools. Six out of seventeen schools receive Title I funds. Schools range from the highest student enrollment (730) to the lowest (269). To assist in the serving and preparation of large quantities of food items and to maintain food service equipment and facilities in clean and sanitary conditions. This job class provides cleaning and serving functions as well as assisting in the more technical areas of food service operations as assigned.

• Prepare large quantities of baked goods.
• Operate and maintain assigned food service equipment and appliances safely and sanitarily.
• Maintain simple records and prepare routine reports.
• Adhere to food service sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform basic mathematics as required.

• Knowledge of basic procedures, methods, and equipment used in the preparation and serving of large quantities of food.
