CORAL is a K-8 after‑school program that focuses on improving academic achievement through literacy, homework support, sports, and enrichment activities at 22 school sites.

• CORAL After School Instructors for Elementary & Middle School sites
• Substitutes (minimum 2 days)
• 30-40 positions available

• Active participant and positive role model for scholars
• Implement Balance Literacy lesson plans and learning activities
• Teach, direct, and supervise 20-25 school‑age students
• Maintain daily attendance
• Participate in staff professional development trainings
• Ensure health, safety, and well‑being of children at all times
• CPR and First Aid training (can be provided if needed)

• Experience with school‑age children and ability to inspire and motivate scholars
• 48 college credits completed or proficiency exam passed prior to hire date
• Fingerprint background check clearance
• TB test performed and results submitted

• Non‑exempt, non‑benefited; 24 hours of CA Sick Time after 3 months of hire date available
• Available during CORAL program hours 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.; up to 24 scheduled hours per week
