About This Role
This position will give you the resources to become a great math educator and provide world-class teaching services to PreK-9th graders of all levels. You will also participate in Think Academy's business functions, including operations and marketing.
Job Responsibilities
- You will be assigned to a grade department (lower/middle/higher school)
- Plan and execute teaching-related activities, including:
- Teaching short-term and long-term group classes in a classroom setting
- Holding office hours and providing 1-on-1 help
- Grading students' homework and assignments
- Develop tailored mathematical learning plans for students based on their current abilities and goals
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual package: $65,000 – $90,000
- Teaching hours: $45–70/hour for classroom instruction
- Administrative hourly rate: $22–25/hour for preparation, training, and collaboration
- Performance bonus: up to 15–30% each semester

Sample Schedule
- Teach 6–7 classes (12–14 hours/week) to start
- Weekday office hours for prep, training, parent/student communication, and team meetings
- Weekday afternoon teaching
- Weekend teaching
Requirements & Qualifications
- Open to all majors - we provide training and professional growth programs
- Previous experience teaching or tutoring students is a plus but not required
- Passionate about the education industry and has the strong will to motivate and inspire students
- Excellent organizational skills and a strong sense of responsibility
- A team player who can collaborate effectively with other teachers and staff
- Must have valid work authorization to start
