Position Available: After School Teacher – Elementary School, Grades TK-4th

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:45 pm – 6:00 pm

Base pay range: $37,440.00 – $49,920.00 per year. Hourly rate: $18 – $24 per hour, depending on experience, education, and position requirements.

• Design and lead engaging, hands‑on activities for elementary students (TK‑4th) during the after‑school program.
• Build strong connections with students, fostering creativity, confidence, and teamwork.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support each child’s growth.
• Maintain a safe, organized environment and ensure smooth transitions at program end.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and program planning meetings.

• Professional experience working with elementary‑school‑aged students.
• Associate’s degree in Education or related field.
• A love for working with young children and a passion for learning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A reliable, can‑do attitude with a strong eagerness to learn and grow.

• Hands‑on training with a mentor teacher and 1:1 coaching sessions.
• New Hire Welcome Workshop, teacher in‑service staff development days, CPR/First Aid certification.
