Santa Clara Valley Healthcare (SCVH), a large public healthcare system, is seeking a full-time BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist to join our dynamic practice at Regional Medical Center and a full-time BC SCVH Medical Director of Cardiac Care Services within the Enterprise.

Santa Clara Valley Healthcare (SCVH) is the second-largest County-owned health and hospital system in California and is committed to improving the health of the 1.9 million people of Santa Clara County. SCVH comprises four hospitals:
Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (SCVMC - 731 beds), O Connor Hospital (OCH - 358 beds), Saint Louise Regional Hospital (SLRH - 93 beds), and Regional Medical Center (RMC - 258 beds). SCVH includes a network of primary care clinics, urgent care clinics, dental services, primary care behavioral health services, and a broad range of specialty services in the Valley Specialty Center.

SCVH has established a Cardiac Care Service Line that integrates all cardiac services across hospitals and clinics to provide comprehensive care including advanced cardiothoracic surgery, ECMO, structural heart procedures, multiple STEMI receiving centers, electrophysiologic studies and interventions, outpatient cardiac rehabilitation, and an outpatient heart failure program.

Regional Medical Center is a level 2 trauma center, STEMI receiving center, and thrombectomy-capable stroke center. There is an outpatient clinic on campus to support an efficient elective outpatient practice.

Providers have access to an integrated electronic health record (Epic). SCVMC was recognized by the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) for achieving Stage 7, reflecting ongoing innovation and optimization of inpatient and outpatient EHR systems.

The Department of Medicine is a large, dynamic department that includes Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Neurology, Hematology/Oncology, Pulmonary/Critical Care, and Hospitalists services.

1. Interventional Cardiologist at RMC
:
Board-certified or board-eligible, fellowship-trained Interventional Cardiologist for a busy STEMI receiving center and acute care hospital at Regional Medical Center. Responsibilities include Interventional Cardiology and General Cardiology inpatient consultation, outpatient clinic, and elective interventional procedures. The candidate must have or obtain a California medical license. Must work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and advanced practice providers.

2. Enterprise Medical Director of Cardiac Care Services for SCVH
:
Board-certified Interventional Cardiologist serving as SCVH Medical Director of the Cardiac Care Service Line. Clinical duties plus leadership overseeing delivery of cardiology care across all four enterprise hospitals, maintaining high quality standards and strategic growth of the service line in collaboration with division members, managers, staff, and Executive Leadership. Candidates with at least 5 years of leadership experience are preferred.
