IM Primary Care physicians for a large public health and hospital system in Silicon Valley. Better Health for All. Santa Clara Valley Healthcare (SCVH), a large public teaching healthcare system affiliated with Stanford University School of Medicine, is seeking full‑time and extra‑help BC/BE internal medicine physicians to join our Division of Primary Care in a variety of clinical locations, including custody health settings.

Integrative medicine training or experience is highly desirable.

Santa Clara Valley Healthcare (SCVH) is the second‑largest County‑owned health and hospital system in California and serves the 1.9 million people of Santa Clara County. SCVH comprises four hospitals: SCVMC (731 beds), O’Connor Hospital (358 beds), Saint Louise Regional Hospital (93 beds), and Regional Medical Center (258 beds). The network includes eleven primary care health centers, urgent care clinics, dental services, primary care behavioral health, and specialty services in the Valley Specialty Center.

SCVMC hosts four residency programs and one fellowship, and partners with Stanford University School of Medicine and Stanford Healthcare for clinical training of students, residents, and fellows. SCVMC is an ACS‑verified Level 1 Trauma Center, a Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center, an ABA‑verified Burn Center, a Primary Stroke Center, a Level 4 NICU, and CARF‑accredited Rehabilitation Center. Our integrated Epic electronic health record supports systemwide patient information, and SCVMC has been recognized by HIMSS at Stage 7 for EHR optimization.

The Division of Primary Care, with over 55 internal medicine primary care physicians, provides primary care services at eleven health centers from Sunnyvale to Gilroy. Physicians in this department enjoy a collegial work environment with robust specialty and ancillary support and opportunities to teach internal medicine residents from a large residency program.

We are seeking internal medicine physicians to work in primary care clinics and custody health services. Integrative medicine training or experience is highly desirable.
