Overview
Community Relations Representative ($24.38 - $30.29) 9 Irvine Company
Responsibilities- Provide on-site operations support for a single community or multiple communities as part of the operating unit; serve as the first point of contact for resident interactions on-site and assist with inquiries including resident requests, move-ins/outs, transfers, renewals, evictions, and other resident-related items.
- Support teams to meet key metrics; monitor and communicate findings from notices to vacate and follow up on customer satisfaction surveys and social media posts as needed.
- Assist with daily operations of the resident services office, including sales, processing move-ins/outs, transfers, renewals, final account statements, lease agreements, delinquency, and applications in accordance with company policies.
- Document and communicate important operating unit information to management and capture resident concerns, requests, and resolutions in the appropriate software systems.
- Walk all communities in the operating unit to ensure condition and quality meet Irvine Company standards.
- Contribute to a customer-service oriented culture for residents, prospects, vendors, and employees and take proactive action on customer touch points.
- Support onboarding and development of new team members; promote positive use of technology and seek efficiencies through its use.
- Other duties as assigned. Variances in responsibilities may exist by operating unit.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- One year of experience in a customer service environment preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills and a desire to help people.
- General business acumen with ability to handle basic accounting principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle or golf cart may be required.
- Valid California driver's license and maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law.
- Regularly able to stand, sit, walk, stoop, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 20 pounds.
- In-town travel may be required; ability to work on weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Regular, reliable attendance.
- Proficient with software such as Google Calendar, Sheets, and Docs.
Pay range: $24.38 - $30.29
Actual placement within this range may vary based on experience, tenure, internal salary considerations, performance, business sector, and geographic location.
