In this role, you will be responsible for managing our brand's social media presence and creating engaging content for platforms such as Linked In, Instagram, You Tube, and our website. You will refine and promote our brand message, manage weekly content across these platforms, generate audience-centric content, and communicate our vision and culture effectively. Collaboration with our in-house teams will be essential to craft innovative content and strategize its distribution.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Create a detailed editorial calendar for content posting.
• Write engaging, shareable content with on-brand visuals.
• Collaborate with staff to generate innovative content ideas, ensuring all content is consistent in style, quality, and tone.
• Review analytics and produce monthly reports on key metrics.
• Curate content from activities and events, including audio/video clips like keynotes, interviews, and podcasts.
• Post 1-2 times a week across platforms via Buffer or direct posting, including stories on Linked In, Facebook, You Tube, and Instagram.

Qualifications

• Experience managing social media accounts and creating social media content.
• Provide links to captions, content you've led or created, and social media channels you've built.
• Ability to write strong, succinct, grammatically correct copy.
• Highly organized with an eye for detail and a desire for perfection.
• Legally able to work in the United States.
• Ability to work with diverse racial, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Submission of resume, supporting documents, online application, background check, health certificate with negative TB test, completed W9, and attendance at a 1-hour orientation.

B.O.O.K (Building Our Own Kids) Academy is a free community service provided through the Maranatha Outreach Center nonprofit in San Jose, California. The program offers literacy, enrichment, and STEM activities to support students in grades K-12, fostering a love of learning in a positive and safe environment.
