Automotive Inventory Technician / Photographer (Full-Time)
ScheduleSchedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (or until work is completed)
RouteRoute: San Jose, Palo Alto, Sunnyvale & surrounding areas
PayPay: $25.00+ per hour (base pay plus per-vehicle photo payout)
AboutThe Role
Pro-Motion Pix is hiring a full-time Automotive Inventory Technician / Photographer to support car dealerships by managing, organizing, and photographing vehicle inventory for online listings.
Using a company-issued iPhone and proprietary app, you will ensure dealership vehicles are accurately documented, staged, and visually presented through professional photos, videos, and 360° spins. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, working outdoors, and taking pride in detail-oriented work.
No Photography Experience Required — Paid Training Is Provided.
What You’ll Do- Travel between assigned dealerships using your own reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed between dealership stops)
- Locate, organize, stage, and verify vehicles on dealership lots
- Capture high-quality photos, videos, and 360° vehicle spins using a company-provided iPhone
- Apply window stickers and confirm vehicle details match dealership records
- Communicate with dealership staff regarding vehicle readiness and availability
- Track and manage completed work using the company app
- Maintain accuracy, efficiency, and consistency across all inventory tasks

Ideal candidates:
- Have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
- Are comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Are organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage time efficiently
- Communicate clearly and problem‑solve independently
- Are tech‑savvy and quick to learn mobile apps and tools
- Have experience driving manual transmission vehicles (preferred, not required)
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfort using smartphones and mobile applications
- Willingness to learn photography and inventory processes
- Manual transmission experience is a plus
- Pre‑employment drug screen and background check
- Paid training — no prior experience required
