Shop Senior UX Designer - Design Systems

Responsibilities
About the team
The mission of the Design Foundation Team is to construct a robust and scalable platform framework and design system assets, aiming to enhance the overall user experience and contribute to the success of B2B platforms. As a Design System Designer, you will enhance the user experience of B2B products and craft a comprehensive design system.

Responsibilities:
-Assess B2B product user experience and identify areas for improvement. Includes analyzing user feedback, conducting user research, and monitoring industry trends to find opportunities for enhancing the design system.
-Create comprehensive design system that encompasses visual style, UI components, and interaction patterns.
-Work closely with designers, developers, and product managers to define and document design standards, guidelines, and best practices.
-Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to align design decisions and ensure that the design system meets the needs of the product and its users.
-Establish and maintain a centralized design system library or repository to store and organize design assets. This facilitates easy access, sharing, and version control of design components, patterns, and other related resources.
-Conduct regular audits and reviews of existing design assets to ensure they adhere to the established design standards and guidelines.
-Work closely with design teams to ensure seamless integration of the design system into their workflows. Encourage the adoption of design components and patterns to promote consistency and efficiency in product development.

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of business-facing product design experience.
-Proven experience in designing and implementing design systems for B2B products.
-Demonstrate strong product thinking skills by identifying opportunities for improvement based on data and user feedback. Showcase problem-solving abilities in addressing design challenges and enhancing the overall user experience.
-Possess a deep understanding of the design process and exhibit strong craft skills in creating visually appealing and functional design solutions.
-Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite to create, document, and share design system components effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree or higher in design-related field.
-Excellent communication and collaborates effectively in cross-functional teams, to articulate design decisions, provide constructive feedback, and work together to achieve design goals.
