We are seeking a senior-level Project Manager who operates with precision, authority, and operational discipline. This role extends beyond scanning — it commands full-spectrum project oversight across subsurface investigation, excavation, and concrete operations.

This is not an entry-level technician role.

This is a field command position.

• High-accuracy concrete scanning and underground utility locating (GPR)
• Technical interpretation and validation of radar data
• Oversight of concrete cutting, coring, and structural modifications
• Coordination of CCTV pipeline inspections
• Excavation operations, including traditional excavation and hydrovac services
• Jobsite leadership, scheduling, crew coordination, and workflow control
• Equipment readiness, calibration, and asset management
• Enforcement of safety protocols and regulatory compliance
• Direct client communication and professional report delivery

• Advanced expertise in GPR scanning and subsurface utility locating
• Proven ability to interpret and validate radar data
• Strong background in excavation and hydrovac operations
• Experience overseeing concrete cutting, coring, and full concrete scopes
• Working knowledge of CCTV inspection technologies
• Demonstrated project management and crew leadership capability
• High-level safety discipline and compliance awareness
• Professional communication skills with clients and inspectors
• Construction and infrastructure experience strongly preferred.
• Leadership presence required.

Safe2core is building an underground and civil construction division in Northern California and we are looking for a driven Project Manager who wants to grow with it.

This is not a maintenance role. This is a growth role.

We want someone with at least 5 years of underground or civil experience who understands estimating, permitting, field operations, and California public works. You must be comfortable bidding work, solving problems in the field, protecting margin, and moving fast.

• Estimating and bidding underground projects
• Managing private and public works projects
• Pulling permits and coordinating with agencies
• Ensuring prevailing wage and compliance requirements are handled correctly
• Controlling job costs and protecting profit
• Leading crews with confidence and accountability

• 5+ years underground utility or civil construction experience
• Experience bidding or assisting with estimates
• Knowledge of California public works and permitting
• Ability to read and interpret civil plans
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• High ownership mentality

$125,000 – $150,000 per year DOE

Performance-based bonus tied to profitability
