a well-respected specialty contractor in Northern California, is seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in lath, plaster, and exterior finishes. Known for craftsmanship, integrity, and long-term client partnerships, the company delivers high-quality exterior wall systems across commercial, residential, and multifamily projects.

This is a key role for a detail-oriented estimator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at vendor coordination, competitive pricing, and collaborative project planning.

• Perform detailed take-offs for lath, plaster, stucco, EIFS, and exterior finish systems
• Review drawings, specifications, addenda, and RFIs to fully understand scope
• Build accurate labor, material, equipment, and scaffold cost estimates
• Prepare clear scope sheets and bid packages; solicit vendor/sub pricing
• Level and compare subcontractor and supplier proposals; negotiate terms
• Prepare proposals with inclusions, alternates, and value-engineering options
• Attend pre-bid walkthroughs, scope review sessions, and internal handoff meetings
• Support conceptual budgets, design-assist pricing, and preliminary estimates
• Coordinate estimate turnover with project management and operations teams
• Maintain pricing history, production data, and vendor contacts
• Track bid results and market pricing to support competitive strategy and accuracy

• 5+ years of estimating experience in lath, plaster, stucco, EIFS, and exterior wall systems
• Strong knowledge of exterior envelope assemblies, means, and methods
• Ability to interpret architectural/structural plans, elevations, and envelope details
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Plan Swift, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar estimating tools
• Skilled in subcontract negotiation, scope writing, and cost analysis
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple bids and deadlines
• Experience in both hard-bid and negotiated delivery environments
• Local subcontractor/supplier relationships preferred
