About the Role:

We are partnering with a California-based manufacturing company that specializes in precision custom cabinetry and commercial interior solutions. With a fully integrated production facility and in-house design capabilities, the company delivers high-quality, scalable cabinetry systems for residential and commercial projects, including hospitality and multi-family developments.

This Business Development Manager role is a senior-level, on-site position responsible for driving B2B revenue growth through strategic relationship building and long-cycle deal execution. The role focuses on identifying and developing partnerships with developers, general contractors, designers, procurement teams, and other commercial stakeholders, particularly within hospitality and multi-family construction.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and manage high-value B2B relationships with commercial partners, including developers, general contractors, designers, and procurement teams.
  • Build and execute strategic business development and sales plans aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations for complex, high-value projects with long sales cycles.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities across commercial construction and interiors.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal design, production, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the development of long-term supplier and partner relationships, moving beyond one-off transactions to repeat and strategic business.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in business development, enterprise B2B sales, or large-account relationship management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Commercial construction materials
    • Building products, cabinetry, or interior systems
  • Demonstrated success managing long sales cycles and negotiating high-value contracts.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to operate independently, think strategically, and manage complex deal pipelines.
  • Established industry relationships with buyers, developers, general contractors, or specifiers are strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with hotel groups, multi-family developers, or commercial procurement teams is a plus.
