The Global Product Manager is a hands‑on product leader responsible for translating product strategy into successful execution and delivery for our global Retainer products. This role ensures that product initiatives are clearly defined, well‑prioritized, and delivered with high quality, speed, and customer impact.

Working closely with the Director of Product Management, this role bridges strategy and execution — owning day‑to‑day product leadership while driving clarity, momentum, and results across cross‑functional teams. This role is located in San Jose, California.

Product Ownership & Execution

• Own product roadmaps and backlogs aligned to strategic priorities
• Lead discovery, definition, and delivery of product initiatives from concept through launch
• Ensure clear product requirements, success metrics, and acceptance criteria

Cross‑Functional Leadership

• Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Regulatory, Quality and Operations to drive execution
• Act as the primary product decision‑maker for assigned product areas
• Resolve tradeoffs and dependencies to maintain delivery momentum

Customer & Data‑Driven Decision Making

• Leverage customer insights, analytics, and market data to inform product decisions
• Define and track success metrics to measure customer and business impact
• Continuously iterate products based on feedback and performance

Operational Excellence

• Maintain strong execution discipline across planning, prioritization, and delivery
• Identify risks early and proactively drive mitigation plans
• Ensure launches are well‑coordinated, high quality, and outcome‑focused

Team & Process Contribution

• Mentor Product Managers and contribute to product best practices
• Support continuous improvement of product processes and tools

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred
• 8+ years of product management experience with increasing responsibility
• Proven track record of delivering complex products in cross‑functional environments
• Strong experience with agile product development, roadmap ownership, and execution
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to balance strategic intent with hands‑on execution

If provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate’s pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically.

For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S.

Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
