Available Role

Micas seeks an Operations Associate to join its Operations team. You will report to the Senior Manager of Operations, and work in our San Jose headquarters. In your role, you will work closely with colleagues from our Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, Planning, Product Management, and Finance teams.

Key Responsibilities Logistics & Shipping Operations
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments through carriers.
  • Prepare and manage all required shipping documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and shipping labels.
  • Communicate shipment details, pickup schedules, and confirmations with logistics partners and customers.
  • Generate packing slips, update tracking information, and ensure timely delivery notifications to both customers and internal stakeholders.
Inventory & Warehouse Coordination
  • Receive inbound shipments, verify contents, record serial numbers, and update the company's inventory system.
  • Conduct weekly on‑hand inventory counts and provide reports to the sales and operations teams.
  • Optimize warehouse storage by consolidating pallets and maintaining organized inventory.
  • Handle physical goods safely, including lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Sales Operations & Order Management
  • Enter customer purchase orders into the ERP system and coordinate fulfillment with internal teams.
  • Provide accurate, real‑time inventory and shipment status updates to the sales organization.
  • Support overseas sales teams, providing assistance and updates as required, mostly during evening hours to align with their time zones.
  • Assist in collecting monthly sales forecasts and participate in forecast review meetings with executive and supply chain teams.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee projects to ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Assess, analyze, consolidate, and communicate risk and status clearly to management — highlighting key issues and presenting options for resolution to the cross‑functional executive team through sales forecasts and open order reviews.
Supply Chain & Supplier Coordination
  • Collaborate with overseas factories and logistics teams to prioritize production schedules and manage resource allocation.
  • Monitor supplier progress and proactively address risks to ensure on‑time material readiness and shipment execution.
Office Operations Support
  • Maintain a professional and organized office environment.
  • Prepare coffee and restock beverages each morning.
  • Replace water dispensers and assist with light facility support as needed.
Global Coordination
  • Communicate daily with overseas teams (China and Malaysia) from Monday through Friday, and occasionally on Saturday or Sunday evenings, to ensure production alignment, shipment readiness, and supply chain continuity.
