Venmo is expanding to win commerce, and we are looking for a seasoned Product Manager to build a new commerce ecosystem on Venmo, creating two‑sided ecosystems and networks.
Job Description SummaryThis role involves 0‑to‑1 product development, defining strategy, and driving execution with conviction.
Essential Responsibilities- Drives product strategy with cross‑functional stakeholders aligned with the product or platform vision.
- Plans and implements the architectural roadmap balancing innovative design, technical implementation, regulatory requirements, time‑to‑market, customer needs, and profitability.
- Assesses the customer experience and incorporates customer needs into product requirements and decisions.
- Sets up data gathering mechanisms to track metrics that inform product success, including usability studies, research, and market analysis.
- Leads work streams in analytics, customer discovery, market research, and competitive analysis to drive data‑driven decisions.
- Oversees product profitability measures, including budgeting.
- Plans operational mechanisms that drive execution and accountability, including product reviews, operating reviews, and business reviews; interfaces with product and technology leadership as needed.
- Partners with content strategists, data scientists, product designers, and user‑experience researchers.
- Maximizes efficiency in a constantly evolving environment, adopting fluid processes and creative solutions.
- 8+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Annual performance bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and more. Pay Pal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $169,500 to $291,500.
