Our Car Wash Valets create the first and last impression for our guests. From moving vehicles smoothly, safely, and efficiently, Valets represent the dealership in a professional and friendly manner. A large part of your role is to enhance the Lexus of Stevens Creek guest experience. Our ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, a team player, has excellent communication skills, and approaches every task with a positive attitude.

This is an entry level, full-time position with a chance to learn about the automotive industry. Opportunities to promote from within into roles such as a Service Consultant, Service Technician, Sales Consultant, and many more may exist here at Lexus of Stevens Creek.

• Move vehicles smoothly, safely, and efficiently and represent the dealership in a professional and friendly manner.
• Wash exterior of vehicles after service or sale and ensure the exterior is thoroughly clean before delivery to the guest.
• Maintain finished vehicles in an orderly fashion throughout the Sales lot and keep traffic flow through the wash rack smooth and efficient.
• Ensure all tools are in good working condition and assist in all other areas of the Sales/Service department as needed.
• Maintain high grooming, hygiene, and uniform appearance; follow all company safety policies, operations, and practices.
• Knowledge of chemicals and products used in automotive detailing and safety procedures related to these products.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; read and understand directions as applicable.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.

• Washes exterior of the vehicle after service or sale and ensures the vehicle is thoroughly clean before delivery.

• Frequently bend, stretch, twist, or reach; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, precipitation, and windy environments.
• Adjusting, moving, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
• Move and operate in tight or confined spaces; stand for extended periods and occasionally sit.
• Operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment; ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
