Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Assistant (EA) to support the CIO of Western Digital. This role is a trusted partner to the CIO and Chief of Staff, ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the CIO’s office. You will manage a complex global calendar, facilitate communication at all levels, and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities- Executive Support & Calendar Management:
Manage an intricate global calendar; coordinate meeting logistics, agendas, materials, and follow‑ups; oversee travel arrangements. - Communication & Briefing Preparation:
Serve as primary contact for the CIO’s office; partner with Communications to prepare briefing documents; triage inquiries. - Operational & Administrative Excellence:
Manage expense reports, purchase orders, and administrative workflows; maintain documentation; support onboarding. - Leadership & Partnership:
Lead the EA role for the IT Leadership Team; build relationships across the organization; partner on special projects.
- Minimum 10 years supporting technology executives, ideally a CIO in a large public company.
- Expert‑level proficiency with Microsoft 365 productivity tools.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Thrives under pressure and adapts quickly to shifting needs across global time zones.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- High emotional intelligence, strong interpersonal skills, and executive presence.
- Proven ability to mentor and collaborate with administrative peers.
- Integrity, discretion, professionalism, and solutions‑oriented mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Salary range is based on education, experience, and business needs. Position may be performed in California, Colorado, New York, or remotely.
