TB Accounting Services is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our small consulting team.

About TB Accounting Services: Join our dedicated team at TB Accounting Services, where we pride ourselves on providing top-notch bookkeeping and financial advisory services to a diverse client base. Our small consulting team is looking to expand with a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper.

Job Description: As a Bookkeeper at TB Accounting Services, you will play a key role in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. You will work closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update bookkeeping records and files.
  • Handle A/P, A/R, and general ledger postings and statements.
  • Analyze budgets and prepare expense reports.
  • Examine tax policies and manage tax payments and returns.
  • Meet with clients to discuss confidential financial matters.
  • Categorize records in the general ledger (e.g., assets, liabilities, and expenses).
  • Prepare accurate current and forecast reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and conduct month-end and year-end closures.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close process.
  • Standardize and maintain a system of bookkeeping records and techniques.
  • Prepare documents for audits.
  • Payroll

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office, databases, and accounting software.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial and tax regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
