Tax Manager – Remote (California-based, occasional San Jose client meetings)

Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 per year.

  Work closely with directors, managers, and partners on high-impact client projects

• Manage a diverse portfolio of tax engagements for individuals and business entities
• Advise clients on tax planning, research, compliance, M&A activities, and transfer pricing
• Review and prepare tax returns, projections, and work papers to professional standards
• Supervise and mentor staff across multiple client projects
• Conduct tax research and resolve complex tax issues
• Partner with seniors, managers, and directors to deliver exceptional client service
• Ensure projects are completed within deadlines and client expectations

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting (MSA/MST preferred)
• Active CPA license preferred
• 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
• 2+ years in a Tax Manager or Senior Tax role
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in tax planning, compliance, and consulting across multiple entity types
• Customer-service mindset with strong leadership and staff management skills
