Senior Accountant

Our client, a fast‑growing Series C SaaS company in the cloud technology space, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its next phase of growth.

San Jose, CA. The position is hybrid, with in‑office expectations three days per week.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, mission‑driven environment and contribute directly to scaling operations.

• Calculate and validate monthly variable earnings accurately and on time according to current compensation plans.
• Maintain commission tools and reference data to ensure accurate payments.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, HR, and Sales leadership to refine commission plans and provide strategic insights.
• Communicate effectively with plan participants and train them on plan structures.
• Support general ledger activities, including stock compensation and other accounting areas.

• 5–8 years of experience in Sales Compensation, Sales Operations, or Finance, including commission automation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with large data sets.
• Strong accounting knowledge; CPA preferred.
• Experience with cloud‑based financial systems (e.g., Net Suite, Salesforce).
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, scaling startup environment.
