Seasonal Tax Compliance Reviewer Responsibilities

In this role, you will work with tax group in applying tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles to analyze financial information, prepare or review accurate and timely income tax returns, tax payments, planning calculations and income tax accounting entries while delivering outstanding client service.

• Prepare/review entity, individual and fiduciary federal and state tax returns; emphasis in pass through entities and its owners in areas of manufacturing, distribution, construction and professional services
• Prepare / review all manner of tax planning and projection calculations
• This position has flexible hours as mutually agreed with ELG and can be done remotely or on a hybrid basis. We ask for a commitment of at least 20 hours per week when available, but 40 hours or more would be preferred. Alternatively, may also be structured as a full time position during filing season and part time in offseason.

• 7 years or more of tax compliance experience, especially with pass through entities and owners.
• Strong communication skills
• Supervisory experience
• Tax return review experience

• CPA certification (EA considered)
• BS in Accounting
• CCH Axcess, RIA Checkpoint, Quickbooks, MS Office proficiencies a plus Salary - To be discussed depending on experience
