Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. You will manage various financial tasks, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate has a strong background in financial accounting and is proficient in using accounting software, including Sage Intacct. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Prepare and record journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to identify and resolve any discrepancies

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

• Process accounts receivable transactions and ensure timely collection of payments

• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information for analysis and reporting purposes

• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement

• Assist with the implementation of financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field

Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position

Knowledge of Sage Intacct

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, Quick Books, and basic accounting systems

Strong mathematical and analytical skills

Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
