The Site Administrator (SA) is responsible for overseeing and managing a private special education day school, working with students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs. This role provides leadership in program implementation, classroom management, curriculum and instruction, special education compliance, and staff mentoring. The SA is expected to demonstrate excellence in leadership, management, communication, and collaboration.

- Master's Degree in Special Education or related field (required)
- Experience as an educator with a similar student population.
- Valid CA Department of Education certification.
- Current California "IVP" DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card or State of CA Background Check (required).
- Principal/Administrative Certification (preferred).
- Safety Care Certification (preferred).
- Develop and implement student IEPs and provide specially designed instruction (SDI).
- Knowledge of business and management principles for strategic planning, resource allocation, HR, leadership, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

Implement and oversee PBIS program, curriculum, and instructional practices ensuring compliance with special education policies. - Manage enrollment and reintegration activities.
- Daily school operations, resources/supports, and regulatory compliance.
- Staff Development:
Mentor, develop, and evaluate staff; provide professional development. - Communication:
Maintain effective communication with teachers, staff, students, parents, and stakeholders. - Relationship Management:
Collaborate with districts, clients, and families. - Compliance and Administration:
Manage special education meetings and documentation.
