Full-Time Shuttle Driver CDL Needed
Wage $28.00 per hour
Location Yerba Buena Island, San Francisco, California
Shift Full-Time AM Shift
Must Haves Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or C with a passenger endorsement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Drive shuttle bus and transport customers to and from the facility.
- Greet passengers and assist with loading and unloading.
- Operate the shuttle bus safely and efficiently, complying with traffic and safety regulations.
- Monitor vehicle condition and record malfunctions or damage on appropriate forms.
- Communicate with dispatchers, drivers, and other employees using a two-way radio system to communicate routes, announce arrivals and delays, coordinate pickups, or handle other vehicle or customer issues.
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Monitor traffic and weather conditions and notify dispatch or supervisor of potential problems.
- Report accidents or other safety situations to dispatch or supervisor.
- Treat all customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License for at least 5 years.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class-C with passenger endorsement.
- Provide a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for the past 3 years.
- Preferred:
One year experience driving shuttle bus or commercial vehicles. - Ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently.
- Flexible work hours, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment depending on customer volume, shift, season, etc.
- Positive professional attitude with strong communication skills.
The physical demands of this position require the employee to stand, walk, sit, use hands-to-fingers, handle tools or controls, reach with hands or arms, talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 lbs.
The work environment may expose the employee to weather conditions, fumes, airborne particles, and noise ranging from minimal to moderate.
