Coordinators pick up the flight schedules for specific airline from dispatch, look/collect Final information count to include flight number, type of aircraft, configuration and type of service. Locate flights and final/pack specific items on the meal carts. Add/check ice cream, condiments, hot entrée, check special meals, crew, flight completion and temperature taking before finalizing flight. Identify all discrepancies, inform supervisor and ensure that all missing items are placed on the flight.
Communicate any problems with the flight to dispatch. Hand over Flight to Flight crew out on the AOA, and perform additional duties as needed.
- Must be able to read, speak and write English and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Accurate, organized, thorough, pays attention to detail, need to understand and interpret Airline SITA telexes.
- Must possess a Valid Driver’s License; be able to obtain an SFO AOA Driver Seal, Customs Seal.
- Must have strong mathematical skills, must be able to interact with all levels of employees.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, must be able to perform duties in various temperatures.
- Must be self‑directed and be able to work with little supervision, must be able to work under pressure.
- Must be flexible to work any shift.
- Must have a good performance and attendance record
