Pay Range: $26.00/hr - $28.00/hr (San Francisco Towers). (

Qualified commercial driver transports passengers in a bus, van, or car to local or distant points according to scheduled times.
Detailed Responsibilities- Provides quality customer service efficiently to residents, families, co‑workers and vendors to ensure satisfaction.
- Drives bus, van, or car along assigned routes and schedules.
- Transports passengers for special events and activities as needed.
- Assists residents on/off the vehicle and with loading packages.
- Schedules, confirms, and adjusts appointments with residents.
- Operates heating, lighting, ventilation systems for resident comfort.
- Inspects bus daily before departure using a pre‑trip/post‑trip inspection form.
- Ensures vehicle is in good operating order and reports problems to supervisor.
- Maintains cleanliness inside/outside vehicle; handles fuel, lubricants, accessories.
- Follows laws and procedures for operating a commercial vehicle.
- Logs service records, inspections, routing, CHP inspections, mileage.
- Participates in department safety standards and campus‑wide safety programs.
- Wears PPE/safety equipment as required.
- Attends mandatory in‑service meetings; complies with policies and procedures.
- Reports safety hazards, accidents, and delays to supervisor.
- Class B California driver's license with passenger endorsement.
- High School diploma or GED.
- 2 years driving in the local area.
- Enrollment in Mandatory Commercial Drivers random drug testing program.
- Participation in California DMV Pull Notice program (if applicable).
