We're seeking an exceptional and ambitious Backend Engineer who thrives in a high‑intensity environment with lots of unsolved challenges and wants to build something revolutionary. • Shuo – CTO & Cofounder:
  Built the ML Platform (Michelangelo) at Uber for 5+ years, head of AI & ML at Support Logic.
• Aizada – CEO & Cofounder:
  Harvard Law School graduate, attorney with 7+ years experience at Cooley and ex‑McKinsey consultant.
• Assel – CPO & Cofounder:
  Harvard Business School graduate, 7 years building products at SoFi, Step, and in large financial institutions.

• Work closely with the founding team and early customers to build a world‑class AI‑powered product.
• Architect, develop and maintain the server‑side logic, databases, APIs, and other backend processes to meet application requirements.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers to ensure seamless integration of user‑facing elements.
• Engage in the entire application lifecycle and hold a high bar for coding, debugging, and deploying with an emphasis on high‑quality, scalable code.

• Enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment & wear multiple hats.
• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Experience with developing products built on top of LLMs / ML.
• Proficient in Python, FastAPI, Postgre
  
  SQL, containerization and scaling microservices.
• Experience building products from zero to one.
• Ability to seek & find the right resources for solving open‑ended problems.
• Located in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Experience working in a small startup environment (Seed or Series A).
• Experience working across the stack.
• Understand data lake / data warehouse.
• Understand Transformer / Attention / GPU inference.
• Experience with AWS, Supabase, Launch Darkly & Better stack.
