Senior Software Engineer - Wallet Core (Wallet Core Team)

Bit Go is a leading digital‑asset infrastructure provider. This position focuses on building an API‑first platform to help businesses launch crypto products.

• Design and build scalable APIs, libraries and services for an API‑first platform
• Own features from inception to deployment and customer integration
• Expose and document functionality to UI, third‑party developers and internal tooling
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design and ship new features
• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
• Work closely with product managers, designers and engineers to refine requirements
• Mentor peers through code reviews and best‑practice education

• At least 6 years of back‑end/server‑side development experience
• Strong algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis
• Expertise in Type Script, Node.js, Express, Postgre
  
  SQL and MongoDB
• Experience with JVM languages (Kotlin or Java) is preferred
• RESTful API design expertise
• Microservices and service‑oriented architecture experience
• Unit and functional testing, debugging
• Git/Git Hub, branching, code‑review tools, CI tools
• A fast‑paced, adaptable mindset
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or related field
• Understanding of cryptocurrencies and blockchain

• Experience building consumer‑facing crypto products
• Proven track record of public‑facing API deployment
• Microservice development in Spring
• Full‑stack experience, familiarity with React
• Client or business partner engagement experience
• Familiarity with digital wallets, clearing/settlement, lending, trading, accounting systems

Base salary ranges from $180,000 to $220,000 USD; equity, annual performance bonuses and additional benefits are included.
