Lead Software Engineer, MIP​/AIP

Role Overview

Zeta Global is seeking a driven Lead Software Engineer to join the MIP/AIP Platforms Team, the engine behind our ad technology core. This team owns systems for Programmatic AdTech (DSP), omnichannel data integration, and client‑facing self‑service tools that unify activation, reporting, and measurement.

• Platform Development:
  Design and build high‑volume, low‑latency programmatic AdTech (DSP) systems and omnichannel data integration solutions using a polyglot stack.
• Full‑Stack Implementation:
  Drive the development of new features and systems using Ruby, Python, Java, and React to deliver integrated, full‑stack solutions.
• AI Integration:
  Implement the integration of bid stream intelligence, sentiment data, and foundational AI services into MIP/AIP systems to drive platform value.
• Technical Problem Solving:
  Solve complex technical challenges related to scalability, reliability, and security within distributed AdTech environments.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with Product and other Engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions that advance Zeta's programmatic capabilities.

• 7+ years of engineering experience with a demonstrated history of technical contributions.
• Foundational experience or strong understanding of Programmatic Advertising, including DSPs, bid stream mechanics, and data‑intensive AdTech environments.
• Proficiency in multiple languages, including hands‑on experience with Ruby, Python, and Java.
• Experience developing scalable front‑end applications, specifically utilizing React.
• Strong architecture, design, and problem‑solving skills with a focus on security, reliability, and performance.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and foundational understanding of AI/LLM concepts.
• Experience building and scaling distributed systems is a significant plus.

$180,000 - $200,000, depending on location and experience.
