We are seeking an experienced Android Engineer to support international growth initiatives, including translations and guest experience features. The role involves end-to-end Android development, from design and coding to testing, experimentation, and launch. This engineer will also maintain and enhance existing Android features while collaborating with a distributed, fast‑paced team.

• Develop, maintain, and support scalable Android features at a global level.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver user‑facing functionality.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.
• Maintain clear and proactive communication regarding progress, risks, and task dependencies.
• Manage designated tasks via Jira in an Agile environment.
• Contribute ideas on technical design and future feature development.

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on Android applications at scale.
• Proficiency with Kotlin and/or Java.
• Strong experience with Jetpack Compose and Kotlin Coroutines.
• Hands‑on experience developing scalable Android apps in high‑traffic environments.
• Working knowledge of Graph

• Proven ability to thrive in fast‑paced, Agile environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively across remote teams.
• Demonstrated task ownership and accountability.

• Backend/service development experience (databases, APIs, Kubernetes).
• API design experience for maintainable mobile‑backend integration.
• Exposure to internationalization, translations, or global guest experience features.
