We’re hiring a Staff Engineer to own technical execution and day‑to‑day technical leadership across our product. You’ll work closely with our CTO to organize engineering efforts, shape architecture, and ensure we’re building scalable systems the right way. This is a senior, hands‑on engineering role, not a people‑management position. You won’t manage direct reports, but you’ll lead from a technical standpoint, setting direction through judgment, code quality, and execution.

Please note: This is an onsite role based in San Francisco. For candidates outside the Bay Area, we offer paid relocation.

• Act as the technical lead for day‑to‑day engineering execution across the team.
• Organize and prioritize engineering work in close partnership with the CTO.
• Design and architect scalable systems, guiding implementation decisions.
• Review pull requests and uphold high standards for code quality and maintainability.
• Mentor more junior engineers through technical guidance, feedback, and example.
• Identify technical risks early and propose pragmatic, scalable solutions.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to improve workflows and execution.

• React frontend in Type Script, using NextJS, Tailwind and Apollo GraphQL

• Are energized by being a hands‑on technical lead, owning execution without people management.
• Have strong engineering judgment and enjoy shaping system architecture and implementation decisions.
• Care deeply about code quality and raise the bar through thoughtful PR reviews and technical mentorship.
• Thrive in ambiguity and communicate clearly with engineers, product leads, and cross‑functional partners.
• Bring 5–10 years of hands‑on software engineering experience with demonstrated senior‑level impact.
