We are working with a pioneering aerospace startup in San Francisco that is redefining how satellite constellations are built, launched, and controlled.

Their breakthrough spacecraft platform is designed to significantly reduce launch costs while increasing reliability and performance. At the core of their innovation is a next-generation attitude control system that replaces traditional mechanical approaches with an elegant, embedded actuator-based solution.

They are now looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to take ownership of this device-level system.

This is not a maintenance role. This is a build-it-right, make-it-bulletproof, product-level ownership opportunity.

You will work at the intersection of hardware and software, helping evolve a highly reliable embedded system designed to operate in the harsh realities of space.

You will:

• Develop and optimise embedded device features
• Improve reliability and fault tolerance
• Strengthen test systems designed to intentionally expose weaknesses
• Work closely with hardware teams on scaling and noise reduction
• Model and implement best practices for robust embedded software
• Take real ownership across teams

They are looking for someone who cares deeply about simplicity, performance, and getting things right.

• 3+ years in embedded software design
• Strong low-level embedded C experience
• Bare metal or RTOS development
• Experience working where hardware meets software
• A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills

• STM
  32 microcontrollers, ideally STM
  32H7
• LwIP or embedded networking
• Ethernet, SPI, UART, I2C
