Head of Engineering

We are partnering with an early‑stage, B2B SaaS startup that is building the revenue infrastructure for the next generation of AI companies.

As the Head of Engineering
, you will be a foundational leader, reporting directly to the CEO. You will lead a team of 7+ engineers and contractors, with the immediate goal of doubling the team’s size while maintaining a culture of high‑velocity execution and technical excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Scale the Team: Hire and retain a world‑class engineering organization, growing the team from 10 toward a target of 100 people.
• Technical Leadership: Take full ownership of the technical roadmap, architecture, and data models to ensure long‑term scalability.
• AI‑First Innovation: Lead the charge in building an AI‑first engineering org, leveraging the latest AI tools and workflows to maximize efficiency.

  Provide tactical mentorship, conduct PR reviews, and unblock the team on complex technical challenges.

  Work closely with Product and GTM teams to deliver high‑quality customer implementations on tight timelines.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 10+ years of building production‑grade systems and 3‑5 years in a people‑management role leading full‑stack teams.
• Startup DNA: Comfortable in a dynamic, early‑stage environment; experience scaling engineering teams from 10 to 100+ is highly preferred.
• Tech Stack: Proficiency with Type Script, React, and PostgreSQL

• Bonus Points: Previous experience as a founder or background in sales tech / quote‑to‑cash systems.
