$250,000 - $300,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer, Innovations, to create interfaces and flows for new verticals at Mochi Health. You will work directly with ex-founders, high-frequency traders, rocket engineers in the skunk works project within Mochi to take Mochi from an obesity health platform to a world-class health platform.

You’ll play a key role in crafting best-in-class web and mobile experiences that delight both customers and providers. From launching bold new features to rapidly experimenting with fresh verticals, you’ll help shape what’s next for Mochi Health.

This role is perfect for someone who is able to be scrappy in the world of Web and Mobile development, while having good architectural and design sense to build effectively.

• Work within a small team of PMs, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless, intuitive user experiences.
• Iterate quickly on experiments that will guide long-term decision making for leadership as we scale rapidly over the next 6‑12 months.
• Lead the development, optimization and expansion of our web and/or mobile applications (React, React Native, Type Script).
• Own key architectural decisions, mentoring engineers, and elevating front-end excellence across the company.
• Influence engineering culture, fostering innovation and technical ownership within the team.

• 3+ years of front-end development experience, with deep expertise in React and React Native, as well as some exposure to Kotlin/Swift (e.g., Apple Health Kit React Native Integrations).
• Experience leading technical initiatives and shipping scalable, high‑performance web and mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of modern front‑end tooling (Type Script, CI/CD pipelines).
• Expertise in state‑management strategies and optimizing complex UX interactions in data‑heavy applications.
• A passion for creating fast, accessible, and beautiful user experience.

• Excellent documentation, organization, and communication skills.
