The Vision Products Group is looking for an exceptional Software Test Automation Engineer to help us build the next generation of Mixed Reality interactive solutions for Apple platforms. You’ll partner in testing and developing the next generation of our state-of-the art connectivity technologies. You'll design and develop sophisticated automated frameworks that validate complex spatial experiences on vision
OS, working closely with engineering teams to ensure world-class reliability and user experience.

Responsibilities- Designing, developing and integrating the tests into a continuous integration environment.
- Develop frameworks to utilize and validate API interaction across different layers of VR software apps.
- Ensuring the automation infrastructure is robust and aids in delivering high quality software.
- Automated testing of vision
OS using Python, Swift, etc and also work on scripts and tools that aid in analysis. - Working with cross-functional teams across different organizations within Apple to further improve the quality of our codebase and products.
- Building dashboards to represent and visualize the test data and KPIs.
- Collaborating with infrastructure teams to improve our existing code using advanced machine learning productivity tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or similar.
- 3+ years of relevant experience working as a SDET or automation engineer.
- Strong object-oriented programming preferably in Python/Swift, designing and developing frameworks, building automated tests for consumer or enterprise technologies.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), using Git for version control and CI/CD integration.
- Experience in identifying performance KPIs for evaluation, creating test setups to capture metrics, and creating UI dashboards for data visualization.
- Ability to investigate, debug and triage problems and independently work towards results across different layers of stack through automation.
- Ability to independently work with cross functional teams on new features, bring up automated test setups for verification.
- Ability to quickly prototype ideas/solutions, perform critical analysis, and use creative approaches for solving complex problems.
- Hands-on experience working with AR/VR products and ecosystems.
- Knowledge of the Apple development ecosystem using Xcode, Xcode Cloud, and XCTest/XCUITest.
- Basic knowledge of networking standards like IPv4, TCP/UDP, and/or wireless protocols like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.
- Hands on experience with deploying Machine Learning tools to demonstrate real-time telemetry data.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
