Founding Engineer

Salary range: $130k - $180k

Join a passionate founding team and work closely with the leadership to design and deliver highly scalable systems that transform the LLM developer experience. This is a rare opportunity to shape a product from inception, influence its technical direction, and make a significant impact on the future of AI observability.

• Feature Development:
  Design, develop, and implement new features to enhance the platform and improve developer experience.
• Backend & Frontend Services:
  • Frontend:
    Next.js, Tailwind CSS
  • Proxy worker:
    Wrangler/Cloudflare
  • Application database:
    Supabase
  • Analytics database:
    Click House
  • Backend services:
    Express/AWS ECS
  • Queue systems:
    Kafka
• End-to-End Ownership:
  Manage projects from ideation to deployment and post-launch optimization.
• Deployment & Operations:
  Oversee deployment workflows and ensure smooth, reliable system operations.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work on feature requests, integrations, and documentation enhancements to improve usability.
• Community Engagement:
  Gather user feedback, encourage contributions, and iterate on the product based on real-world use cases.

• Type Script Expertise:
  Strong experience in Type Script (core to the majority of the codebase).
• Database Knowledge:
  Proficiency with SQL and similar technologies, with experience in Click House, Supabase, and Postgres.
• Cloud Services:
  Familiarity with cloud deployment workflows; experience with Cloudflare is advantageous.
• Problem-Solving & Communication:
  Ability to simplify complex problems and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Adaptability:
  Quick learner who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
• AI Knowledge:
  Solid understanding of LLMs and the AI ecosystem.
• Hands-On Product Familiarity:
  Prior use of the platform is preferred to bring valuable user insights into development.
