Software Development Engineer, 3P Seller Tools and Gen AI Solutions, ISS

Amazon’s International Seller Services (ISS) org seeks a lead Software Development Engineer to build transformative products and tools that help 3P sellers. We develop innovative solutions leveraging generative and agentic AI to transform workflows for sellers and account managers worldwide.

You will lead a team of software engineers, building internal tools and external solutions powered by cloud computing and generative AI for 3P sellers. The role offers an opportunity to work at the forefront of agentic AI and distributed systems, building new products and services from the ground up and enhancing existing tools.

In a typical day you will work with a team of engineers on products such as the AI Assistant that accelerates workflows and experiences for 3P sellers. You will collaborate with product managers and business teams worldwide to create and execute a roadmap of compelling user experiences. Close partnership with other engineering teams and applied science is critical. You will be extremely curious about learning and incorporating the latest developments in generative AI to develop products that deliver agentic AI solutions.

The team sits in Amazon’s International Service Org that creates tools, products and agentic AI solutions for 3P sellers and account managers worldwide. Products include a mix of solutions common across sellers in multiple countries and solutions customized for sellers in each country.

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability and scaling
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
