The Data Engineering and Internal Products (DEIP) team is looking for a Software Engineer. You will design, build, and improve platforms and services that empower our customers and other teams ’ll help teams across Clever—Product, Engineering, Marketing, Executives, and Customer Success—use data to make good decisions, and you’ll work on building services that enable insights, activate data, and deliver analytical products to our customers.

• Build and scale our analytics pipeline for simplified data management and rapid enablement of business and product analytics.
• Develop Clever’s internal products to increase productivity and security for our people and processes.
• Manage Clever’s data warehouse and optimize for scale as we grow our user base and product surface area.
• Expand and scale our external analytics products to meet the analytical demands of external customers.

• 2+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Programming experience in a variety of technologies such as Java script, Go, Java, C++, SQL, No
  
  SQL databases, and cloud services.
• Demonstrated experience with data technologies.
• Strong technical documentation skills with an appreciation for clear and complete documentation.
• Effective teamwork and cross‑functional collaboration with other organizations.
• Proficiency in writing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries to support analytics, data platform, and backend logic.
• Optional experience with AWS managed infrastructure is a plus (e.g., AWS Lambda, Kinesis, Redshift).

For candidates living in the United States (excluding NYC and San Francisco, CA), the base salary range is $115,000 – $135,000. For NYC and San Francisco, CA candidates, the range is $126,000 – $148,000. Final offers are determined using multiple factors, including experience and level of expertise.
