Software Engineer, Cloud Engineer - Software, DevOps, Machine Learning/ ML Engineer
Responsibilities
Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Design and engineer software systems part of the next generation Autodesk ML Platform to support full ML lifecycle management. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements. Maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
Advocate for best development practices while strategically driving long‑term technology direction. Identify opportunities to automate and streamline processes to improve ML development. Build end‑to‑end systems to automate time‑consuming processes such as feature engineering. Build tools for building and deploying ML solutions to production applications. Automate and orchestrate tasks for managing big data sets. Build large‑scale data stores that house ML artifacts like models, features, parameters, etc.
Build low‑latency prediction/inference services. Work across a diverse group of machine learning researchers, developers, product managers, software architects and operations.
Must be available to work on projects at various unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.
Minimum RequirementsMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field and 5 years of experience in software/systems analyst‑related occupation.
Technical Skills- Experience with relational and non‑relational databases such as AWS Dynamo
DB, RDS, GCP Bigtable, GCP Bigquery - Experience with AWS or GCP stack – AWS Dynamo, AWS Lambda, AWS ECS, or AWS Batch to design, build, and maintain large‑scale low‑latency cloud applications
- Experience with Infrastructure as a Tool such as Terraform
- Experience with monitoring and observability platform and tools such as Pager Duty, Splunk, and AWS Cloud Watch
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and Spinnaker
- Experience with ML libraries and frameworks such as Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Keras, and scikit‑learn
- Experience with batch processing frameworks such as Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark
- Experience working with streaming pipelines using Apache Kafka
Starting base salary between $213,512 – $235,000 per year (U.S. roles). Offers based on experience and geographic location. Includes significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
