Sr. Software Engineer, Enterprise SaaS Platform

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Enterprise Platform team, you will define and implement the capabilities that transform our solution into a true enterprise SaaS platform. You have built multi-tenant platforms before and know how to design authentication/authorization, RBAC/ABAC, licensing and entitlements, configuration hierarchies, datagovernanceand audit logging without needing a detailed spec.

You’lldrive architecture and system design, collaborating across product, infra, AI and customer teams to deliver a secure, reliable platform at global scale.

• Design, implement and evolve core platform architecture, includingauth
  
  N/auth
  
  Z, RBAC/ABAC, residency, multi-tenancy, extensibility frameworks, system topology, audit logging, entitlement management, licensing, configurationhierarchiesand data governance.
• Build andmaintainextensible platform services and APIs enabling partner,customer and internal integrations.
• Define and implement platform lifecycle and upgrade strategies including versioning, backward compatibility, deployment automation, tenant onboarding/offboarding, configuration migrations, HA/DRand enforcement of licensing/entitlement models.
• Architect secure, scalable, distributed backend systems that support mission‑critical enterprise workloads.
• Lead modernization and refactoring efforts to mature the platform froman early stage to Tier‑1 enterprise readiness.
• Establish data governance and compliance practices: encryption, data residency, retention policies, audit trails and evidence for SOC2/ISO
  27001 or similar frameworks.
• Instrument the platform for observability with per‑tenant metrics, logging,tracing,and customer‑facing status reporting.
• Collaborate across teams to translate product needs into reusable platform components and to integrate AI/ML data pipelines, computeorchestrationand model runtime environments.
• Identify and define platform capabilities without waiting for explicit requirements; propose and drive solutions to completion in a fast‑paced startup environment.
• Debug high‑complexity, cross‑service issues across distributed systems and production environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and influence engineering culture, architecturedecisionsand long‑term platform strategy.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience building enterprise/B2B SaaS platforms or distributed backend systems.
• Proven ownership of platform‑level capabilities: multi‑tenant architecture,auth
  
  N/auth Zframeworks (OAuth2/OIDC/SAML), RBAC/ABAC models, licensing/entitlement systems, configuration management, auditloggingand data governance.
• Deep hands‑on experience with backend languages (Python, Go, Java, etc.) and with distributed systems, microservices, data orchestration workflows and messaging/event systems.
• Demonstrated ability to take a good platform and mature it into a Tier‑1, enterprise‑ready solution, including upgrade/versioning strategies, backward compatibility, HA/DRdesignand operational excellence.
• Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO
  27001) and security best practices such as encryption, dataresidencyand retention policies.
• Comfortable navigating early‑stage ambiguity, proposingsolutionsand driving them independently.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and cross‑functional communication skills.

• Experience building or operating data engineering or AI/ML platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake) or working in regulated environments such as semiconductor manufacturing.
• Familiarity with hybrid deployment models (private cloud, VPC installation, on‑premises) and plugin/extensibility architectures.
• Experience with observability tools, service reliabilityengineering,and internal developer platforms.
