Job Description & How to Apply Below

Based in San Francisco, Arine is a rapidly growing healthcare technology and clinical services company with a mission to ensure individuals receive the safest and most effective treatments for their unique and evolving healthcare needs.

Frequently, medications cause more harm than good. Incorrect drugs and doses cost the U.S. healthcare system over $528 billion in waste, avoidable harm, and hospitalizations each year. Arine is redefining what excellent healthcare looks like by solving these issues through our software platform (SaaS). We combine cutting‑edge data science, machine learning, AI, and deep clinical expertise to introduce a patient‑centric view to medication management, and develop and deliver personalized care plans on a massive scale for patients and their care teams.

Arine is committed to improving the lives and health of complex patients that have an outsized impact on healthcare costs and have traditionally been difficult to identify and address. These patients face numerous challenges including complicated prescribing issues across multiple medications and providers, medication challenges with many chronic diseases, and patient issues with access to care. Backed by leading healthcare investors and collaborating with top healthcare organizations and providers, we deliver recommendations and facilitate clinical interventions that lead to significant, measurable health improvements for patients and cost savings for customers.

The Role:

Arine is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer (Individual Contributor) who will operate as a key technical contributor in quality engineering execution. This role is focused on implementing and maintaining the end‑to‑end quality strategy across our core application features, user interfaces, and backend services. You will be instrumental in expanding scalable, resilient testing frameworks, supporting "Shift‑Left" practices within the development cycle, and providing technical input that improves product reliability and engineering efficiency.

You will collaborate directly with Engineering Architects, Product Managers, and the QA Manager to execute our long‑term quality vision.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Design and execute comprehensive, risk‑based test strategies and test plans for complex features, system releases, and architectural refactoring projects.
  • Adopt and apply robust Quality Engineering practices across the organization, adhering to core testing policies, coding standards for test automation, and release readiness criteria.
  • Contribute to the design, adoption, and scaling of robust automated test frameworks to achieve high automation coverage and establish repeatable validation.
  • Proactively explore AI‑driven tooling to modernize our testing workflows and elevate the efficiency of our quality engineering practices.
  • Monitor and maintain automated quality gates within the development process to prevent regressions and ensure release confidence.
  • Apply coding and scripting skills to develop custom diagnostic tools, execute root cause analysis, and perform system integrity checks.
  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate with junior and senior QA engineers, helping to maintain a high technical bar for quality across engineering teams.
  • Execute the primary quality sign‑off, ensuring system integrity by utilizing sophisticated comparison and validation methods across all data and UI visualization touchpoints.
  • Help identify and resolve systemic quality pain points and testing gaps, working with Engineering Leadership and the QA Manager to support structural process and tool improvements.
  • Document and track high‑priority defects, collaborating across development teams to ensure swift, permanent resolution of complex system issues.
Our Ideal Candidate Possesses:
Technical Expertise & System Architecture
  • 3+ years of specialized Quality Engineering experience, with a focus on scalable, distributed systems.
