About the RoleAs a Senior / Staff Frontend Engineer at Apiphany, you’ll help design, build, and refine our cutting-edge web application. You will be responsible for implementing high-quality UI components, building the next generation of data visualization, ensuring optimal performance, and maintaining best practices in front-end development.
You’ll also help shape the long-term frontend strategy, mentor teammates, and establish engineering best practices that will scale with the company. You’ll collaborate closely with design, backend, and ML engineers to make massive data streams intuitive and actionable for users for a seamless experience.
Experience & Skills3-5+ years of experience in Type Script, JavaScript, and React
Deep understanding of React internals, rendering performance, and state management patterns (Redux, Zustand, or similar)
Experience designing and developing data visualization dashboards using D3, visx, or equivalent frameworks
Proven experience in frontend system design, architecture, and optimization
Experience developing component libraries and design systems (Storybook or similar)
Experience mentoring engineers, leading technical discussions, and guiding long-term architectural decisions

Passion for UX/UI design and creating delightful user experiences
Base Salary: $150,000–$300,000
Equity: 0.1%–1.0%
