This AI startup is redefining how developers build software by creating coding assistants that understand entire codebases, anticipate developer intent, and integrate directly into the tools engineers use every day.
The company has raised over $250M and is scaling revenue from $1M to $50M in a single year, with adoption already growing rapidly across top‑tier engineering teams. This momentum has created space for principal software engineers to help drive the next stage of growth.
As a Principal Software Engineer, you’ll shape product and engineering direction, lead technical decisions, work closely with the Co‑Founder, and guide teams through ambiguity. These are hands‑on roles where you’ll design and build alongside your team, while tackling challenges at the intersection of large‑scale systems, AI, and user‑facing product.
For this role, you will likely be IC level 6 or 7 equivalent and have experience working in an environment where there are ambiguous customer problems and you identified a solution, led the charge to build it, and ultimately drove the business outcome.
The team operates on a hybrid model, three days a week onsite in Palo Alto. The culture is defined by speed, ownership, and the expectation that great ideas can come from anyone.
Compensation ranges from $300,000 to $350,000 base plus a very competitive equity package and full benefits. Relocation support is available.
Want to join a team that’s building tools developers actually rely on, and helping shape the future of software development? This is your chance.
