About the role

About the role
We’re looking for a hands‑on, execution‑minded Head of Marketing to lead our marketing strategy from the ground up while running the core content engine.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the marketing strategy and roadmap across demand generation, content, brand, and enablement.
• Own the content calendar: monthly newsletters, blog posts, Linked In, webinars, and marketing collateral.
• Lead early‑stage demand generation: email campaigns, lead capture, nurture workflows, and outbound/inbound sales collaboration.
• Produce high‑quality one‑pagers, pitch decks, case studies, and internal enablement tools.
• Manage the website, email marketing platforms, and analytics tools.
• Drive press strategy, events, client gifting, and swag initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in B2B marketing with a strong focus on content creation and product marketing.
• High‑output doer with strategic thinking and speed of execution.
• Excellent writing skills: fast, clear, and able to turn raw input into compelling copy.
• Execution bias: ownership, decision making, and focus on results.
• Digital fluency: managing workflows, publishing platforms, and lightweight integrations.
• Experience in webinars, content calendars, demand generation, and product collateral.
• Renewable energy experience is a plus but not required.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Ensure that products are robust, secure, and well documented.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
• Front‑end experience:
  React, at least 1 year required.
• Strong backend skills:
  Python, Node.js or similar with knowledge of data models and APIs.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, testing, and scalable architecture.
• Ability to translate user stories into production‑ready code.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
