What You’ll Do- Executing repair orders with accuracy, efficiency, and pride in craftsmanship
- Diagnosing malfunctions using schematics, diagnostic tools, and EV‑specific technology
- Collaborating with the parts department to secure required components
- Tagging and saving parts for warranty or technical review
- Inspecting vehicles to identify additional safety or service needs
- Communicating clearly with the shop foreman regarding timelines, additional work, or repair challenges
- Documenting all work performed and recommended services
- Road‑testing vehicles when needed
- Staying current with manufacturer training, technical bulletins, and recall information
- Mentoring and supporting fellow technicians
- Reporting equipment issues and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
- Ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Operating tools and equipment responsibly and reporting safety concerns immediately
- Strong automotive troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills
- Experience with electric vehicle systems and components
- Ability to diagnose complex repair issues
- Proficiency with diagnostic testing tools and software
- Solid preventive maintenance experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional repair shop
- Proven ability to meet productivity, efficiency, and quality KPIs
- Electric Vehicle certification from ASE or an OEM (required)

Work EnvironmentWork at the depot in San Francisco, supporting the maintenance of incoming vehicles. A certified technical trainer will provide training, including a two‑week program in Arizona.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of San Francisco, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr.
