Snapshot / Role Overview
We’re hiring an Applied Chiller Service Technician in San Francisco, CA to handle service, repairs, and diagnostics on large commercial HVAC systems—especially chillers.
Impact- Keep critical systems cool and reliable
- Troubleshoot and fix complex mechanical issues
- Deliver expert service clients can count on
- Minimize downtime with efficient, high-quality work
- Service and repair air- and water-cooled chillers (screw, centrifugal, magnetic)
- Perform teardowns, rebuilds, and major diagnostics
- Support system startups and commissioning
- Communicate with customers and complete service reports
- Follow all safety and OEM procedures
- 12+ years of commercial HVAC experience
- 5+ years working directly with applied systems and chillers
- Skilled with screw and centrifugal units
- Based in the San Francisco area with a solid job history
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities
- Factory training or OEM certifications (Trane, York, Carrier, etc.)
- Centrifugal teardown experience
- EPA Universal, OSHA 10/30
- Bonus: controls or BAS knowledge
