. We’re looking for a service technician to service existing customers. The ideal candidate is an experienced installer with 5+ years of experience who wants to transition into service or who is already performing service work. The major brands of equipment include Crestron and AMX systems. Candidates must have their own basic hand tools, know how to use a multimeter, trace connection issues, and be professional and capable of interfacing with enterprise customers.

• Custom Control systems:
  Crestron DM and NVX / AMX
• Complex audio‑video systems in executive board rooms and conference centers
• Video teleconferencing equipment and systems
• Audio‑visual over IP (AVoIP) networks for audio‑visual data over LAN, WAN, and the internet
• Audio DSP based systems including amplifiers, speakers, and microphones
• Projection display devices and systems
• Video wall equipment and systems
• Digital signage equipment and systems
• RF systems (analog and digital) to a lesser degree
• Preventative maintenance testing
• Site surveys for service agreement quotes
• Write concise service reports and system site surveys
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Manage multiple service projects simultaneously
• Lead and mentor junior/intermediate field service technicians

• Two‑year diploma from a technical college or equivalent experience
• CTS certification highly preferred, or equivalent experience

• Minimum of 3 years field service experience

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to stand, kneel, and/or crouch for long periods
• Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding
• Ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds
• Ability to work in high places, small cramped areas, hot humid and cold environments

Contract position based out of San Francisco, CA

• Pay range: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
